A recognized expert at the intersection of AI, economic analysis and innovation systems, Jan leads ISTARI's mission to transform how organizations access and act on market intelligence. He holds a Ph.D. in geoinformatics and has spent over a decade researching and developing data-driven methods to map global innovation and business activity - including work as a senior researcher at the ZEW - Leibniz Centre for European Research, and as a fellow at Harvard University's Centre for Geographic Analysis.

Dr. David Lenz
At ISTARI, David oversees the design and implementation of large-scale data pipelines and methods for transforming vast volumes of unstructured information into reliable, research-grade intelligence. David is a data scientist with extensive experience in empirical research, statistical modeling, and applied machine learning. He holds a Ph.D. from the Justus-Liebig University Gießen, where his academic work focusses on the construction of dynamic web-based indicators, economic signal extraction, and forecasting models.

Robert is an entrepreneur and AI strategist with a track record of turning cutting-edge research into scalable business solutions. He brings hands-on experience building startups, leading product innovation, and developing digital infrastructure. Robert is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Mannheim with research stints at Stanford University.
